DIVERSIFICATION OF UNIVERSITY IN INDIA

The most important thing about the Gurukul education system in ancient times was that they used to provide natural and such environment so that the disciple can easily adapt the knowledge and at the same time they used to provide all kinds of education at one place and that was the real essence of the Gurukul education system. Over time, the trend is becoming increasingly prevalent, where the whole institute is trying to provide all types of courses within a single campus and for this reason, many top colleges in India have been converted to universities in today’s date or many institutional bodies are starting with the university itself.

Instead of opening a separate college. Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, a city known as Silicon Valley in India, is not only known for providing job opportunities. It is also known for its excellent education system because this city has many top institutes in India and one among them is Manipal University Bangalore which an off-campus of the main University as a part of Manipal Education Global Services and is widely popular for the quality education as well as provide a conducive environment for studies and innovative ideas and it is well known for its engineering and MBA courses across India.

The name of its parent university has been changed and now it is MAHE (Manipal Academy of Higher Education). If we talk about cultural diversification in this university, then it is very much because students of more than 57 countries come and study in this university and the total number of students including Indian students is more than 28000. Manipal University is one of the top rank private university in India and its ‘Mission and Vision’ is reflected in their education system and style of teaching as the way they try to extract the best from inside the students by giving them more practical knowledge instead of theoretical knowledge and this is the most demanding trend in the current corporates. The institute received the accreditation certificate by NAAC in 2016 with grade ‘A’ and managed to secure the score of 3.30 CGPA on a scale of 4.
