What makes a Problem Solver for fertility Issues

The woman is not fertile at any time during her menstrual cycle. The latter lasts on average 28 days, but can vary from 25 to 35 days depending on the woman. The primary day of the cycle is the principal day of your period.  Fertilization, that is to say the meeting between an oocyte released by the ovary and a sperm, can only take place during ovulation.

In a normal cycle, it occurs around the 13th or 14th day. Around the 21st day if the cycle lasts 35 days. To complete your pregnancy venture, it is critical to know how your cycle functions.

Temperature Curve

Making a temperature bend more than a while is a decent method to see all the more unmistakably. The body temperature rises above 37 ° C the day after ovulation. If your cycles are irregular or if you notice that you are not ovulating, talk to your doctor.

For there to be pregnancy, you need to begin by having intercourse.  And, if possible, at the right time, that is, when the woman is fertile, during ovulation. Small problem: the fertilizable egg – which has just been released by the ovary – has a limited lifespan: only 24 hours. The sperm therefore have little time to fertilize it, they survive on average 72 hours in the uterus, but they must pass through the cervix and go up in the fallopian tubes to reach it.

The ideal timing for fertilization? Have sex two days before ovulation. This allows the sperm to enter the tubes just as the egg is released. You can also visit here for more information.

Think about the ovulation test

It’s not always easy to spot the two most fertile days of your cycle. To help you, there are ovulation tests.

The principle?

Measure the level of luteinizing hormone (LH) in the urine, which peaks in production just before ovulation. Is the test positive? This is the “optimal” moment to make love: intercourse must take place within 48 hours. To identify the D-day, several tests (one per day) may be necessary: from 3 to 4 on average.

Stop smoking

Smoking definitely does not mix well with pregnancy. Not only is tobacco detrimental to the development of the fetus, it also impairs the fertility of women who smoke, which increases the duration of conception. To make a baby’s desire come true, it is therefore better to give up nicotine as soon as possible. Get help if needed. Different smoking cessations exist. Talk to your doctor. This recommendation also applies to alcohol.

Eat balanced

With the prospect of a future pregnancy, it may be useful to reconsider the way you eat. A balanced diet allows the body to fill up with vitamins, minerals and trace elements, which you will need during the nine months of pregnancy.

To be avoided: exclusionary or overly restrictive diets which promote deficiencies and disrupt the hormonal cycle. If you absolutely want to lose a few pounds, seek advice from your doctor.

Educate the future dad

Disclose to the future dad that he also can help his richness by receiving a solid way of life. Like you, he must stop smoking, limit alcohol, eat a varied and balanced diet. Precautions perhaps not so superfluous: numerous scientific studies confirm a decline in male fertility. The quality and quantity of human sperm would be altered by our lifestyle and our environment.
